Well, hello there! Welcome to another week on the blog.
I finally got around to locating my old files and backing up my newer files. My God, I am a digital hoarder. It’s a tad ridiculous. I’m just glad that this stuff is digital and not paper in my house. Don’t get me wrong, I do have plenty of paper, but this is slightly better.
One file I found was a screenshot I took back for the brief period of time in 2011 that one of my novellas was on the bestseller list on Amazon. This was for What the Dead Fear.
It was a free download, so no fortunes were had, but it was still pretty cool. If I remember correctly, the downloads were at about 20k at that point.
In other news, I have obtained a new-to-me antique desk! My last one was a cheapo Sauder thing. This one is much cooler. Sorry for the weird background. I cropped my front porch out for privacy reasons.
Tis but a small desk, but I am a somewhat smallish human, so it works out. I love it so much. I have some dragonfly string lights hanging over it. My little office corner is looking very cozy.
I think that’s about it for the moment. The audiobook is still progressing nicely. I do have a flash fiction for tomorrow. The title is Marmalade. Be there or be square!
