What is up? Did you have a lovely weekend? I did. I got to hang out with those grown children of mine. I enjoy their company a lot. I also had an orange cream donut from the bakery down the street, and that was amazing. Their icing game is very strong.
The nonfiction audiobook is progressing nicely. I’m not sure I’ve ever been this consistently focused on an audio project before. I love the book very much, which is probably why it’s going so well. I’ve finished sections 1-6, and I’m almost done with section 7. I should finish that by the end of the day. Only 11 more to go!
Once I finish getting the audio together, everything should move somewhat quickly.
I’m thinking about hiring a part-time assistant sometime in the future. There’s a lot of administrative stuff that I struggle to catch up on. These things aren’t a huge deal, but it would be nice to delegate some of this stuff to someone else. Or maybe I just need to figure out how to clone myself.
In other news, I have run out of flash fiction, so there might not be one this Friday. If I somehow miraculously find the time to write one, I promise to post it. I found a small set of ideas that I previously lost, so there are pieces waiting for me to write them.
